strategy to take short or long position in a stock just before earnings are announced. Because of high volatility substantial gains or losses can be experienced. We call for all traders to contribute here.

Are you planning on compiling the results of the calls that you make? It would be interesting to see your performance.
I'll do that, but
results differ because I usually take position in only 2 of all considered stocks, mainly because
I rely on tape reading.
in addition, I dont really like to brag about results which can be exceptional (witness AMZN and DGIN yesterday, for example)and also devastating (it is risky strategy after all)
but I established this blog as a way of communicating with traders who follow similar trading strategy.
Now, I realized that better web site with forum and chat would be more suitable for that, but due to lack of time and technical skills I havent built that new web site.
