strategy to take short or long position in a stock just before earnings are announced. Because of high volatility substantial gains or losses can be experienced. We call for all traders to contribute here.
I'm probably going to regret it, but I haven't covered WIND yet. I covered SIGM and NOVL too soon, so I'm going to wait and see what happens with WIND.
im a web developer, will you guys be interested in having a website that focus on earning plays with more features? discussion, in price out price, performance tracking, explainations, strategy, etc?
That sounds like an interesting site, but I'm not sure if it's worth the effort in coding all of that. I'm not sure how many people focus on earnings plays.
In the short term, do you know of any good threads on the stock discussion boards that focus on earnings plays and are active?
I'd be interested in discussing potential plays with others without clogging up this dude's blog. :)
You mention other sites focused on earnings plays. This site was taking off great but has died. Perhaps with your interest, it can be revived. They are a great bunch of guys with solid picks.

I agree to short WIND, but long BBOX. SEAC and ESL has no preference.
covered 1/2 at 8,45 for WIND
and 1/2 at 50 for BBOX
i covered all at 8.4 for WIND, didn't follow BBOX
