strategy to take short or long position in a stock just before earnings are announced. Because of high volatility substantial gains or losses can be experienced. We call for all traders to contribute here.

Price shows relative strength. Historically they have have +ve earning surprises. Not sure if shorting here would be a good idea
Not a bright idea to short a stock that has 99% institution ownership
